Water

Water is necessary for soap-making because it allows the lye to better saponify the fats in the tallow. All soap-makers use water but most use harmful tap water which contains fluoride, chlorine, and other additives. We use Carlsbad Alkaline spring water which is 100% additive free and has a PH of 8.76 naturally.
